Tim started his automotive journalism career at Consumer Guide Automotive, and since leaving Consumer Guide, he has freelanced for Iguida.com, Examiner.com, High Gear Media, AutoGuide, and other publications. He is a member of the Midwest Automotive Media Association, and he attends all four major auto shows, all so he can cover the industry thoroughly. Before he wrote about cars, he worked in the service department for several dealerships, where he learned the retail side of the business.
